Note: GOSOL-100 is indicated for severe acute pain only. Use should not exceed 5 days unless specifically advised by a physician. It is not intended for chronic pain management or mild to moderate pain conditions.

⚠ Key Safety Warnings

• Respiratory depression: Tramadol can slow or stop breathing. Risk is higher in elderly patients, those with respiratory conditions, or when combined with CNS depressants.
• Addiction & dependence: Tramadol is a psychotropic drug with potential for abuse, addiction, and dependence. Use only as prescribed and for the shortest duration necessary.
• Serotonin syndrome: Risk of life-threatening serotonin syndrome when used with SSRIs, SNRIs, MAO inhibitors, or other serotonergic drugs — seek immediate help if symptoms occur (agitation, high fever, rapid heartbeat, muscle spasms).
• Seizure risk: Tramadol lowers the seizure threshold — use with extreme caution in patients with epilepsy or at risk of seizures.
• Alcohol & CNS depressants: Concomitant use with alcohol, benzodiazepines, or other CNS depressants greatly increases risk of respiratory depression, coma, and death.
• Driving & machinery: May cause dizziness and somnolence — do not drive or operate heavy machinery while taking this medication.

⛔ Known hypersensitivity to tramadol or any opioid analgesic

⛔ Acute intoxication with alcohol, hypnotics, opioids, or CNS depressants

⛔ Currently taking or within 14 days of stopping MAO inhibitors

⛔ Uncontrolled epilepsy or history of seizure disorders

⛔ Severe respiratory depression or airway obstruction

⛔ Children under 12 years of age

⛔ Pregnancy — risk of neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome

⛔ Breastfeeding — tramadol passes into breast milk

Key Drug Interactions

MAO inhibitors (contraindicated), SSRIs / SNRIs (serotonin syndrome risk), Carbamazepine (reduces tramadol effect), CYP2D6 inhibitors — Fluoxetine, Paroxetine, Quinidine (increase tramadol levels), Benzodiazepines / CNS depressants / Alcohol (additive respiratory depression)

Nausea, dizziness, somnolence (drowsiness), headache

Vomiting, constipation, dry mouth, sweating, fatigue, confusion, blurred vision

Serious (seek help)

Respiratory depression (slow/shallow breathing), seizures, serotonin syndrome, severe allergic reaction, loss of consciousness
